Cinema tickets for €1 in Brussels and Wallonia in September

From 1-30 September, 21,000 independent cinema tickets will be available for the price of €1 across 34 cinemas in Brussels and Wallonia, as part of this year’s edition of J’peux pas, j’ai cinéma.

The Film and Audiovisual Centre of the French Community of Belgium (FWB) announced that the first tickets went on sale on Wednesday.

Now in its fourth year, the aim of the event is threefold: to attract audiences to independent films or cinemas, promote Belgian films and support cinemas more widely.

For every ticket sold, the FWB will reimburse cinemas at the usual rate.

Where to watch?

Seven cinemas in the capital and 27 Walloon complexes (spread across the five provinces) are taking part in the action.

In Brussels, the following cinemas have adhered to the programme: Aventure (City of Brussels), Cineflagey (Ixelles), Galeries (City of Brussels), Le Stockel (Woluwe Saint-Pierre), Palace (City of Brussels), Vendôme (Ixelles) and White Cinema Docks (Schaerbeek).
