Anderlecht end the year with a win

The last Belgian First Division games ahead of the winter break were played on Wednesday and Thursday. Sporting Anderlecht finally gave their fans something to cheer about with a 3-0 home win against Waasland-Beveren. There were wins too for Standard de Liège, Club Brugge, KRC Genk and RFC Antwerp. Sint-Truiden was the only top 6 side not to win.

Lokeren remain bottom after having beat at home by Club Brugge.
