Young migrant dies in Brussels crushed by bus which he was catching

A young migrant who tried on Saturday to catch a bus, without being seen, died.

The bus was leaving from the Gare du Nord, in Brussels, and heading towards the French city of Calais.

La Dernière Heure indicated this on its website on Monday evening. The young man was squashed by the vehicle, which was manoeuvring at the time.

He was a minor, who died in hospital as a result of his injuries. The Brussels Public Prosecutor confirmed the incident had occurred to the editor of the daily newspaper.
