Ukrainian fighters against corruption uncovered corrupt practices in the Ministry of Healthcare.
Noteworthy is that in Ukraine major reforms of the healthcare system have been launched and the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine is the main conductor of such reforms.
In recent times in the ministry practices are actively being introduced in different positions of responsibility for conducting these reforms. In the procedures and actions of persons participating in such practices activists in the fight against corruption saw acts of corruption and the absence of transparency.
As it became known from the press service of the non-government organization “Stop Corruption” an inquiry regarding this fact was sent to the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
“We can no longer ignore several alarming facts regarding the activity of high-standing officials in the ministry. Notwithstanding the fact that they declare transparency, these officials manipulate the process of practices of top managers”, Coordinator of the “Stop Corruption” initiative Roman Bochkala commented.
