Belgian company develops the largest transportable screen in the world

The Belgian company HD Ledshine presented the screen on Thursday in Denderleeuw (East Flanders).
With a surface measuring 144 metres, it is the largest mobile screen in the world.

The screen can be transported with a truck and can quickly be installed and ready for use in the new location, screening high resolution images.

The record large screen will be placed in Antwerp during the summer to show the World Cup football games from Russia.

At 144 square metres, the screen beats the previous record of 100 square metre by a wide margin. The standard 16:9 aspect ratio can be displayed on the screen using 6.2 million pixels and achieves an image resolution of almost 4K. An interesting feature sees the screen turning 360°.
