Record number of vacancies in Flanders

The number of vacancies processed by the Flemish employment agency, VDAB, continues to grow each month.

In March, 23,439 jobs were available, 21% more than in March 2015 and the highest number on a monthly basis for at least five years, according to the VDAB.

In 12 months, VDAB received 237,050 offers, a rise of one quarter. The highest growth was observed for graduate positions (+33%). The transport sector saw a 76% increase in offers last year.
