Missing Bruges man found in London

A man from the West Flemish city of Bruges that had been missing since last Friday has been found safe and well in the British capital London. 57-year-old Luc Blieck is mentally challenged and there were concerns for his well-being. He had been on a 5-day trip organised by the not-for-profit group vzw Oranje.

On Friday afternoon the group ended up in a crowd of demonstrators that were protesting against the visit of the US president Donald Trump near to Big Ben. Luc Blieck became separated from the group and there had been no sign of him for 4 days

However, on Monday evening police in London said that they had found Luc Blieck. He appeared to be in good health and is being taken care of by vzw Oranje staff that are in London.

Mr Blieck is due to return home later today.
