Fifteen people have been detained following a massive police operation in the Peterbos district of Anderlecht in Brussels.
During the two-day operation police raided twenty-four premises as part of an investigation into drugs trafficking. Fifteen people were arrested and 55,000 euros in cash seized. A kilo of drugs was also impounded. An examining magistrate decided that seven of those detained will remain in custody. One suspect has been charged, but later released. Two other suspects await questioning. Five suspects were released following questioning.
