Ryanair will cancel at least 69 flights that would depart or arrive in Belgium this weekend. Belgian pilots have announced they will go on strike. According to Ryanair, the cancellations affect more than 12,000 passengers.
Of the 136 flights from Charleroi airport, 49 do not go through, the airline reports. How many return flights are affected is still unclear. Twenty flights will be cancelled to and from Brussels Airport, formerly known as Zaventem. The others can continue because they are flying with a non-Belgian crew.
The pilots and cabin crew of Ryanair have already taken action. They are dissatisfied with working conditions.
