Charles Michel: “I am going to tackle the thousands of job vacancies.’’

Prime Minister Charles Michel evokes a “downside’’ of the “gigantic’’ creation of job vacancies: “We have a serious shortage problem in certain trades,’’ affirmed the liberal in an interview granted to Le Soir Saturday.
The question will be his “number one priority for the months to come.’’

“Job creation is at its maximum, investments have taken off again to a high. But there is a “downside,’’ esteems the Prime Minister. “We have been so successful in the creation of employment in the private sector that we are confronted with a very large number of job vacancies. Companies have doubled their job vacancies in three years.’’ The problem of trades with shortage, “which already existed in the past (…) has worsened with the creation of additional job posts.’’
