Hugo Broos is the head coach of South Africa. He wants to recruit a Belgian player with dual nationality for the African country. Hugo Broos has set his sights on Ayanda Sishuba. The youth international of the U18 team holds both Belgian and South African nationalities.
Sishuba is described as one of the biggest talents for the next generation in our country. He is currently playing for Lens and is already part of the first team.
The attacking midfielder made his debut in Ligue 1 this season. Hugo Broos aims to convince him to play for South Africa. It is up to Sishuba to choose which country he wants to represent, but secretly, Broos hopes he will choose South Africa over Belgium.
“He is playing at the highest level in France, and we want to give him a chance,” Broos stated during a press conference. “It’s up to the player to demonstrate that he possesses the qualities that South Africa appreciates.”
