Emergency landing in Brussels Airport after the co-pilot falls ill

A Brussels Airline plane heading for Rhodes had to do an emergency landing on the Brussels Airport runway on Saturday morning.

The co-pilot had fallen ill. “The plane had to turn around and we instigated emergency procedures”, says Florence Muls, the Airport spokesman. “The plane was able to land safely”.
