Belgium manager Roberto Martinez believes that Eden Hazard will find his form at Real Madrid following his ‘unlucky’ debut campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Hazard left Chelsea following the Europa League victory against Arsenal to join the La Liga giants but has struggled for fitness, featuring in just 10 league matches and scoring one goal. With five further appearances in other competitions but no more goals, concerns have been raised about his performances since his major move.
However, Martinez is adamant that Hazard will hit the peak of his abilities in the Spanish capital once he shakes the injury issues that have plagued him this season.
“He is very sensible, calm. He is always happy. He is focused on recovering as soon as possible to miss the minimum number of games,” he told AS.
“He was very focused on recovering well and in time for the European Championship. Now all he has to do is focus on whether he can play a very important role with Madrid this season, which I am sure he can.
