Belgians invest in Zeeland’s holiday park

The Belgian Home Invest Belgium real estate company acquired 241 cottages at Center Parcs Port Zeeland in the Netherlands, announced HIB on its website this Thursday.

The Dutch park has approximately 700 cottages.

“The cottages are part of a complex of about 700 vacations homes, surrounded by ‘central facilities’ (such as an aqua-fun space, restaurants, boutiques, games area…), managed through concession by Center Parcs, a branch of the French group Pierre & Vacances. Home Invest Belgium has thus become the largest owner of vacation homes inside the complex,” stated HIB.

The cottages will be renovated and leased for a period 15 years by Center Parcs based on a “triple net” leasing agreement. The initial lease is for 2.32 million euros, excluding taxes, and is to be indexed yearly.
