Belgium wins a new medal at the Super World Championships in Glasgow

That adds up nicely! Belgium has just secured its second medal at the Super World Championships in Glasgow. Fleur Moors was the one responsible for it. She finished third in the road race for junior women.

After Tuur Dens, this is the second bronze medal for the Belgians, thanks to a strong performance by Moors. However, the French rider Julie Bego delivered the most impressive race. She took the lead on the much-discussed Montrose Street during the third-to-last passage.

Moors managed to keep up with her for a while, but eventually had to let the French rider go. Bego maintained her lead until the finish line, making her a well-deserved world champion. The Scottish rider Ferguson just managed to stay ahead of our Belgian competitor and took the silver medal.
