The Belgian economy is growing slower than the Eurozone average

The Belgian economy grew 0.3 percent in the second quarter of the year compared to the previous quarter. For the fifth consecutive quarter, the Belgian ar is below the Eurozone average.

The eurozone enjoyed a growth of 0.4 percent in the past quarter, just like the European Union. Those two blocks had a 2.2 percent improvement over a whole year, compared to just 1.3 percent for Belgium.

Only France and Italy (each with 0.2 percent in the last quarter) had a lower score than Belgium. Germany, one of the frontrunners of the peloton, managed a 0.5 percent growth.
