In the final 2 First Division games of the weekend there were wins for Sporting Anderlecht and Royal Football Club Antwerp. In the 6pm kick-off Anderlecht beat Sporting Lokeren 1-2. Not only did the result see Anderlecht back climb up into the top 6, but it also saw Sporting Lokeren relegated to the Second Division. Europe moves closer to ending seasonal time changes

The European Parliament’s Transport Committee approved a resolution on Monday to end seasonal time changes, proposing that the final Sunday of March 2021 be the last such change for EU countries wishing to stay on summer time. Those wishing to remain at standard or winter time would be able to change over for the last time in October this year, according to the resolution, which was approved by 23 votes to 11. The Chinese telecom giant, Huawei, opened its pan-European centre for transparency and cyber-security in Brussels on Tuesday with great fanfare. The new building is located just a stone’s throw from the European institutions and the notorious 16 rue de la Loi (the Prime Minister’s Office, also home to his team of civil servants).
