Brussels gets second batch of electric scooters

The American company Bird on Tuesday placed 100 folding electric scooters in different parts of Brussels, becoming the second company to do so, after Troty in late June. The scooters will be available free of charge between 07.00 a.m. and 09.00 p.m. They will be placed each morning at strategic locations such as train and subway stations. The Flemish Minister in charge of administration, Lisbeth Gomans (nationalist, photo above), and trade unions representing Flemish public sector workers have reached an agreement that will prevent a strike scheduled for this Friday.
