Ghent will host the largest skate Park in Belgium

The city of Ghent is planning to start this year the construction of the largest skate Park in Belgium – and one of the largest in Europe. The park will be built on 4,000 square metres at the Blaarmeersen recreational centre and, according to Ghent’s alderman for sport, Resul Tapmaz, it “will be completed by Summer 2019”. The financial arm of Wallonia’s Government, Sogepa, could invest 150 million dollars in a project by the Chinese manufacturer Thunder Power to build electric cars at the Caterpillar site in Gosselies, L‘Echo newspaper reported on Wednesday.
